Thorsten has a degree as Diplom-Kaufmann in business administration of the Albertus Magnus University in Cologne. After several international functions in the aircraft-, airline- and pharmaceutical/biotech industry Thorsten stepped into business consulting.
The main focus of his consulting work was in the automotive, automotive supplier, airline, aircraft, machinery, chemicals, pharmaceutical, services, finance and private equity industry. The clients were mainly located in the DACH region, but also in the US, Brazil, UK, the Netherlands and rest of Europe.
In 1995 Thorsten was one of the two founders of the BrainNet Group, which developed within 17 years to become a leading global consulting firm for strategic procurement and suppy chain management with 14 international offices and more than 350 consultants. 2012 Thorsten and his partner team successfully sold BrainNet to KPMG. As equity Partner of KPMG ELLP Thorsten hold various international management positions before he left KPMG and founded the SlateNetwork Group. Today Thorsten is a sought-after consultant, coach, member of management and supervisory boards and a trusted strategic advisor to company owners, managing directors and executive personalities.
